Tucker Ervin Principal

As a Principal of Mainline Development, Ervin is responsible for the strategic oversight and growth of the Company and is involved in all day-to-day activities. Specifically, his primary focus is on investment strategies, capital markets activity, and asset performance and execution. Ervin actively drives high-touch partner relationships, sources, and secures new opportunities, while overseeing daily operations.

Among his milestones achieved since founding Mainline Development, Ervin worked with Ravenel Commercial Properties and Ravenel Associates to assist with commercial real estate development, property management, and construction and maintenance.

Prior to joining Ravenel Commercial Properties, Ervin was a Director of Finance at Greystar Real Estate Partners, where he capitalized and structured multifamily investments across the United States. During his seven years with Greystar, he was involved in project underwriting, transaction structuring, syndicated finance, and orchestrated legal documentation to secure over $5.7 billion in financing.

During his tenure with Greystar, he also served as part of the portfolio management team and investment strategy team working on Greystar’s flagship, value-add discretionary fund totaling over $4.5 billion in assets.

Before venturing into Real Estate, Ervin worked as a portfolio analyst with JP Morgan Private Bank in New York where he designed and implemented investment portfolios including equities, fixed income, structured products (equity, FX, rates) and alternative investments.

Ervin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from College of Charleston in 2006. While in college, Ervin was a proud member of both the College of Charleston and LSU Men’s Golf Teams achieving a SOCON Second Team All-Conference award at CofC.

As a dedicated member of the Charleston community, Ervin previously served on the Board of Directors for the First Tee of Charleston and is actively involved in several local organizations as a volunteer and donor including Lowcountry Children’s Center and the MUSC Children’s Hospital.

When he is not actively pursuing Real Estate investment opportunities or evolving Mainline Development, you may find him golfing, skiing, or cheering on the Gamecocks with his wife and son.
